AMY PORTERFIELD'S ONLINE MARKETING PODCAST

On the topic of subscriber lists...Our founder Hilary shared the episode on GDPR for Entrepreneurs inside the Members Circle last month, and we have been avid listeners ever since!

“How do I start an online business? Grow my email list to thousands of subscribers? Sell more and grow faster? These are just some of the big questions that leading online marketing strategist, Amy Porterfield, digs into on the top-ranked Online Marketing Made Easy Podcast. Featuring insights from A-List online marketing experts (Russell Brunson, John Lee Dumas, Rick Mulready, Marie Forleo, etc.) as well as mini marketing masterclasses and step-by-step guides.”

BRIGHT, SUMMERY ART FROM MODERN SOUTH STUDIO

(the artist who’s also our Hatch Tribe Hero this Month)

Surround yourself with things that inspire you and get your pumped up for work! That was one of our biggest takeaways from May’s Mentor of the Month, Stephanie Burg. This unconventional, contemporary and bright art from Modern South Studio’s Cory McBee gets our brain sparking. Watch out for our Q&A with Cory later this month (trust us—she talks about dance parties).

PLANNING OUR NEXT TRIP TO RESET & REFLECT

Last month’s theme inside the Member’s Circle was all about self-care. What does that look like? Sometimes a bubble bath, sure—but true self-care is much more. It’s taking action daily to set yourself up for success. And it is planning into the future to take care of your future self!

One of our favorite ways to make sure we get that necessary reset, reflect and re-inspire time is...TRAVEL!

This month, the stunning Moveable Feast trips are making us drool. Focused on local culture, cocktails and diving deep into your travel experience, these sultry “feasts” are run by two married yogi/photographers. It’s always good to have some self-care to look forward to!

POEMS BY RUPI KUAR

(for feel-y days)

If you need a lady boss gift for a friend (or yourself), go buy Rupi Kuar’s latest poetry collection, the sun and her flowers. It’s a mix of all the feels, female empowerment, and those thoughts you have in your head that you wish you could put into word. Kuar, an Indian-Canadian poet, writer, illustrator, and performer started drawing at the age of five and now has two poetry and art books published, focusing on themes like love. loss. trauma. healing. femininity. migration. ‘revolution.

If you’re in awe of this self-made Canadian poet like we are, check out her FAQ—it’s actually an awesome Q&A about how she self-published, her battle against female feticide and what’s up with her unusual punctuation.

THE CALL TO ADVENTURE PODCAST

Call to Adventure is a one-hour conversation with people who’ve followed their call to adventure (successfully, for the most part), interspersed with musical selections from each guest.

“The underlying ethos of the show is inspired by Joseph Campbell’s idea of the Monomyth or the Hero’s Journey. Each of us on our personal journey encounters moments where we are drawn into stepping out of our comfort zones to explore the unknown. If heeded, the moment of departure is prefaced by what Joseph Campbell refers to as the Call to Adventure - a moment that either illuminates a new path, forces a challenging decision, inspires courage over fear, or kindles fresh discipline - something that ultimately gives new purpose, meaning, and direction to our lives.”

If you need to transform your commute into an inspirational Hero’s journey—this is it.
