It’s Hilary and I’m back!

If you’re wondering where I went, I made the decision to step away from Hatch Tribe in May 2024. 

If you missed that, here’s the CliffsNotes version.

When the pandemic struck in 2020, our in-person events ground to a screeching halt. These events had been the foundation of the business since I launched it in January 2016.

In the months that followed, I, like many of you, pivoted Hatch Tribe to a virtual business. Our events, workshops, masterminds, and clients went 100% online.

When that happened I took the opportunity to leave Hatch Tribe’s home of Charleston, SC and move to Florida. For a while, despite a not-so-fun ovarian cancer situation, life and work couldn’t have been better.

But then I started growing restless…and things began to shift, as they always do ;) 

I tried to make a big pivot with our mastermind — and it didn’t really work.

I tried to launch a consulting team — and it didn’t really work either.

I tried to focus on business coaching and consulting clients — and that DID work!

By the time 2024 rolled around, I was working exclusively one-on-one with clients. And while I LOVE these clients (I know many of you are reading this!) I started to question whether Hatch Tribe even made sense anymore.

The original intention of Hatch Tribe was to cultivate and connect women entrepreneurs. I was certainly still cultivating business owners, but connecting them? Well that had nearly vanished as the events, retreats and masterminds were phased out.

So you see, stepping away from Hatch Tribe made complete sense to me at the time.

But now, 7 months later, it doesn’t.

For months I have felt a deep longing for what can only be described as…

CONNECTION

I started Hatch Tribe to cultivate and connect women entrepreneurs. And here I am craving the connection that we once offered!

Isn’t that ironic?

I miss YOU. I miss US. I miss the TRIBE. 

I miss the TOGETHERNESS that comes from knowing we’re all crazy enough to be small business owners.

So… what now?

Well, I’m coming back. And I don’t know exactly what that means yet — but I do know a transformation is on the horizon.
