What is the least sexy part of your job?
Ha ha! I have never thought of that. Perhaps email.
How did your awesome business come to be?
Had a baby. Did not want to go back to corporate. Asked myself, what is next for me. When I was at my corporate job I had worked with overwhelmed business owners who never had the time to work on their business only in their business. They were successful but I saw they could do so much more. So I asked the question, why do they not have the time to work on their business? The answer, lack of personal productivity skills. I launched my business to teach an essential skillset so more entrepreneurs could work on their business and have more success.
Who inspired you to pursue entrepreneurship?
I actually did not know anyone personally who owned a business other than those who I worked with through my corporate job. Oddly enough, no one inspired me. I just had an idea and perused it.
Have you ever had a mentor? And how did they help you?
I have had many mentors who have come and gone at different sessions of my life and business. They help me see things differently. It is so powerful to seeing things from a different perspective.
How do you define success for yourself?
Success for me is having a business that provides the financial resources for my family to live the life we desire while helping my clients in a very impactful way.
We all love failure & flop stories! Tell us about something you tried in business that didn't work, and how you moved beyond it.
Just one? LOL I have had a few failed program launches. I was trying to do like the big boys and girls and that did not work for me or my audience. I took everyone of them very hard. And if I said I jumped back up to do it again quickly I would be lying. There are so many factors to a successful launch that I was not sure what did not work. So to move beyond this the lesson was to stop trying to do what the other big online marketers were doing and find my own way to enroll clients into my program.
What is a recent success that you're super proud of accomplishing?
I have created my own methodology on productivity (years in the making) and it will be the bases for my new keynote, book, and signature program.
I'm on a mission to...
Help entrepreneurs get the most from their business and life!
