3 Things to Do on the 1st of the Month [Entrepreneurs]
It’s officially February, which means the sparkle of the New Year has probably worn off and you’re back to some of your old habits.
Am I right?!
I’m no different than you. I’ve already gotten a bit off course on some of my personal & business goals for the year.
But that doesn’t mean I’m sitting here judging myself for it.
Nah, it’s just an opportunity to observe what’s happening, recommit myself to my goals, and get back after it.
So this week’s email is devoted to fresh starts…the kind that comes on the first of every single month!
3 Things To Do on the 1st of the Month
Take Your Pulse
How are things going in your business?
Hmm, what a vague question. And one that’s guaranteed to deliver vague answers.
If you want an easeful business that fills your heart with joy & your pockets with money, you need to be asking yourself better questions!
That’s why we created the Monthly Pulse for my clients. It’s a simple 14 question checklist that lets you quickly see what’s working, what’s not, and what desperately needs to change.
It’s only $7 and you can use it for LIFE!
Set Fewer Goals
Setting goals isn’t really that hard. It’s essentially writing down a list of the things you’d like to accomplish.
I have no doubt you can do anything…but you can’t do everything at the same time!
This is the #1 curse of driven business owners —> Attempting to do too many things at one time.
Let’s take a peek at February. There are 21 working days and I imagine you already have some things scheduled that are eating into “working hours”.
So be realistic. What can you really accomplish during the month of February?
Pursue less and do it with absolute excellence.
Not only is this the faster path to growth, it’s also a hell of a lot more enjoyable and fulfilling. #LiveYourLife
Call On Your Guides
I may lose a few of you with this one, but I’m going to share it anyway!
I like to set a theme for the month by drawing an oracle card from my favorite deck, the Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck.
I’ve always been a nature & animal lover, so this deck really resonates with me.
By drawing a card on the 1st of the month, I get to work with the energy of that animal and its insights.
For example, I drew the Peacock card for February. Peacock represents inner-beauty, compassion and the ability to assimilate any experiences without harboring resentment or past pain.
Do you have this deck? If so, what card did you draw today?
